1. Your Agreement

isynx cares deeply about online privacy. We provide our website www.isynx.com (the ‘Site’) to you subject to the terms and conditions (“Terms”) appropriate to you as “Visitor”, “Fan”, “Artist” or “Customer” (altogether “Users”). As a part of this, you must agree to the terms of isynx Privacy Policy as provided below (“Privacy Terms”).

Whatever your use of the Site, by your continued use, you are deemed to agree to and accept these Privacy Terms.

If you do not agree to these Privacy Terms you should not continue to use this Site.

2. Information Collection and Use by isynx

Visitor Activity
You can browse the Site and view any of the unrestricted publicly accessible Site Content on the Site without being a registered Fan, Artists or Customer.

Fan, Artists and Customer Activity
Certain other activities on the Site, like uploading Site Content, posting comments, or rating songs, require you to be registered as a either a Fan, Artist or Customer. In the Application Forms we ask for some personal information.

Usage Information
We may record information about your usage, such your IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type when you use the Site, the artists, pages and favourites you visit, the contacts you communicate with, and the frequency and size of data transfers, as well as information you post, display or click on in the Site. If you are a Member or a Customer, we may associate that information with your account. We may use clear GIFs in HTML-based emails sent to Users to track which emails are opened by recipients.

Site Management
Usage data is used to manage the website, track usage and improve the services provided by isynx. Any non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to members. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes

Content Uploaded to Site
Any personal information, content or material that Users voluntarily disclose online (on discussion boards, in messages and chat areas, within your fan or artist pages) becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by others.

Emails and Newsletters
We may also use a User's email address to send updates, a newsletter or news regarding the service and/or the Site. Users may choose not to receive email of this type by changing their "notification" setting to "Do not Send” in the appropriate User settings.

Competitions
From time to time, isynx or a partner may sponsor a promotion, competition or contest on the Site. Users may be asked to provide personal information including name, email address or home address or to answer questions in order to participate.

Advertising
isynx may transfer personal information to certain advertising partners that Users have explicitly requested to receive information from. It will be clear at the point of collection who is collecting the personal information and whose privacy statement will apply.

Communications to Non-members
isynx Artists can invite friends to join, or view, or otherwise participate on the Site by sending invitation emails. isynx stores the email addresses that Artists provide so that the respondents may be added to the friend's list of the Artist sending the invitations, and also to send reminders of the invitations. isynx will not sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations, invitation reminders (up to three (3) per email address). Recipients of such invitations from isynx may contact isynx to request the removal of their information from isynx’s database.

Artists’ Contacts
isynx Artists may also store email addresses of people they know in their internal isynx address book and may also choose to send invitations and other communications to those addresses.

Block Emails
Users may prevent isynx email invitations and other messages from being sent to any email address User’s control by sending a single email with the subject "BLOCK" to report@isynx.com.

3. Use of Cookies

isynx uses cookies to store Users' preferences and to record session information, for purposes including ensuring that Users are not repeatedly offered the same advertisements and to customize newsletter, advertising, and web page content based on browser type and user profile information.

isynx does not link the information it stores in cookies to any personally identifiable information that Users submit while on the Site.

Users may be able to configure their browser to accept or reject all or some cookies, or notify them when a cookie is set, however, Users must enable cookies from isynx in order to use most functions on the Site.

Please note that isynx allows 3rd party advertisers that are presenting advertisements on some of its pages to set and access their cookies on your computer. Advertisers' use of cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not the isynx Privacy Policy.

4. Links

isynx contains links to other websites. isynx is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other websites. When linking to another websites a User should read the privacy policy stated on that site. isynx privacy policy only governs information collected by isynx on the Site.

5. Third Party Advertising

Ads appearing on the Site may be delivered to Users by isynx or one of isynx’s Web advertising partners, who may set cookies to allow the ad server to recognize the User’s computer each time they send them an online advertisement. This privacy statement covers the use of cookies by isynx and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

6. Security

Fan, Artist and Customer information and material are secured by Fan, Artist or Customer-created passwords and isynx takes precautions to ensure that such information is kept private and uses reasonable measures to protect such information that is stored within its databases, and restricts access to such information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions.

Please note that isynx cannot guarantee the security of such information and that unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of member information at any time.

7. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, or with the permission of the User, isynx will not disclose personal information to any third party unless it believes that disclosure is necessary:
(a) to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a legal process or order received by isynx, whether or not a response is required by applicable law;
(b) to enforce the isynx Terms or to protect its rights; or
(c) to protect the safety of members of the public and/or Users.

isynx reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of isynx or substantially all of its assets to that successor in interest.

8. Amending Information

Users may modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account and accessing the appropriate edit features.

9. Contacting the Web Site

If any User has any questions about this privacy statement, the practices of isynx, the uses, practices on the Site, or any dealings with isynx, please contact us at report@isynx.com.

10. Changes in isynx Privacy Policy

From time to time isynx may make changes to its privacy policy and if so, isynx will post them on the Site to make Users aware of what the changes. A User is bound by any minor changes to the policy when she or he uses the Site after those changes have been posted.

If, however, isynx is going to use Users' personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection it will notify by posting a notice on the Site for 30 days.
